4. HISTORICAL TOUR

 

One hour from Rio by car (70 km), this quiet and charming city was the place chosen by the emperor Don Pedro II to spend a big part of his life. Surrounded by historical monuments and still showing an imperial atmosphere, this city of german immigration has lot to offer. 

 

 

We´ll visit the “Quitandinha´s  Palace”, the “Cristal Palace”, the “St Peter´s Cathedral” and the “Imperial Museum”, the ancient official residence of the emperor in town and one of the most visited museums in Brazil.
