3. HISTORICAL DOWNTOWN + LAPA + NITERÓI

 

Hidden between business buildings and modern life, we will find in Rio´s downtown area important historical buildings, public squares and colonial churches that tell the story of the urban evolution of the city until our days.

 

 

In Lapa, we will appreciate the roman arches from the 18 century built to bring water from the forest to downtown area in dry times, and visit the colorful Selaron´s stairs all covered by unique tiles from all over the world.

 

 

After that, we´ll cross the 13 km bridge that links Rio to Niterói´s city to visit the Contemporanuim Art Museum (MAC) and the Parque da Cidade (City´s Park), located in one of the highest points in town with an incredible view from Rio!
